It's been a while since I've had a chance to post a supper - and this one's not even MY creation! Yesterday, I went out to hunt deer for a while (and I did get one for the freezer), and Zim told me not to worry about supper. He whipped up a really nice one for me ... grilled fish with mango salsa and sauteed pea pods with shitake, oyster and baby bella mushrooms! Mmmmmmm, that was wonderful. He was downstairs chopping up salsa ingredients and said " This is my first go-round with a mango." Success. I'm back on a wicked work deadline again, and he's down there whipping up a new creation for tonight. I sure love that guy. How are you all? What's for supper at your place? I hope every one of you is having a nice evening!!! Patrice

My plate wont look as nice, but...I crock potted venison ribs and pork ribs together and I'll have a good helping of buttered , mashed potatoes with that.

Hey, Gray fox. There's nothing like breakfast for supper. Love it! Thanks for the photo! You're welcome, Run! Sounds like another great breakfast for supper by you! Hey, Nessy! I skinned and quartered him right where I got him, so I had clean bags of meat to take back up to the house. Zim came down and picked me up! I'll bet that was good, Les! It doesn't matter at all what the plate looks like. Good food is wonderful on any plate. And you can't go wrong with buttered mashed potatoes, especially if you grew them! Are you missing something, White? How was your salad medium rare? I'll bet there was a steak in there somewhere! Great stuff, Mad-mike! I had to go look up pancit bihon. I had no idea what it was - but it looks great!

Nice, Teepee! I've never eaten beaver liver (not much of a liver eater in general), but if it's as good as beaver roasts, it must be good!
Hi Sharon! Thanks! It's nice to have one deer headed for the freezer to kick off the year. I just went out today and hung the Sweeter Heater in the girls' coop today. Two of them are molting right now and it was 4 degrees outside this morning!
