Another example of "my kid can do no harm." The kids' paternal grandfather said, "there are no villains, only victims." Pretty sure the psycho that killed her kids in cold blood then killed herself is the very definition of a villain in my book.

Not in this article, but plenty of others reference her anti-gun violence stance on Facebook.

Regardless of her political stance and terrible tragedy aside, I simply meant to point out how the mainstream media is no longer focusing on mass shootings in favor of non-stop impeachment coverage. But this horrible event will be added to the shootings committed by other psychos to further the anti-gun agenda as another statistic.

one of the girls a year ahead of my daughter in high-school got picked up this year 3 months out of school with her much older boyfriend on Drug and gun charges something like 25 pounds of weed , 5-10K in cash and 2 handguns , my daughter said oh she hated guns. Honey , she hated guns right up till she realized it was how she kept the money the drugs and alive. funny how criminals hate guns unless they are theirs.

however I have found a good may people who hate guns , really hate themselves , they can't trust others with guns because they Know they can't trust themselves with a gun.

I had a co-worker she was anti gun raised her sons with an anti gun bias , well her son got hired on and was also a co-worker for a time , both in the customer training department as they were both teachers who were taking a break from teaching in school. he goes out with some friends of his and he was mid to late 20 at this time and they go shooting at a range , he loves it , thinks it is a great activity and sport. so she is conflicted that he is enjoying this even though he is an adult and acting responsibly and he has seen the light well a glimpse of it that guns are merely tools and they can be used for good or bad and he found good and fun.
So being a nice guy I asked her if she would like to try shooting , I would take her to the range show her how to shoot safely , after all it is the safest sport.

no she didn't even want to be around a gun she just couldn't trust her self with that kind of power. I said you drive to work every day that is far more dangerous and your much more likely to hurt or kill someone.

she didn't think that was the same ,she just could not trust herself with a gun so she could not see how others could be trusted.

we agreed to disagree I guess you could say it was ok that I had guns I was a good person even in her mind but she still had worked up such a disgust for guns.

she was a very pleasant person to work with , don't know why she had such trust issues in herself.

You are right, but 50-60% of gun violence crimes include suicides that are in the CDC data. Remove suicides and the gun violence crime would be much less. JMO
