this is a duke #4 coil 4x4 out of the box.......very stout....decent chain........with the 4 coils it could use a bit of loose jaw levelling for the dirt. 5:22 a.m. im tinkering

I am usen them and like them. Some time back I ask about them and ones on here let me know about them so I got 12 of them and like them.

I like them for.weatber like we are getting now. Great winter trap. Never know how much snow we may get overnight from now til spring. I like the extra reach. My 550s.still work but I will clean smaller.amounts of.snow.from them.

imo very good trap for the money. ive used for beaver and occasionally for yotes. when i got mine out of box most were pretty good some needed some fine tuning, but then again what traps dont need some

Pleasant 100 miles 3 in. snow@24degrees here more snow southward been hit by heavy squalls so a mile can make a lot of difference as far as dukes pleasant to set for a 4-coil jawspread same as a lot of #3's out there lots of holding power they'll hold a 60 to 80 pound bear downside they'll hold a 60 to 80 lb.bear

The springs on mine are alot weaker a year after I bought them. I did base plate them and night latch them.
