My dad saved all of his trapping mags, Fur Fish n Games ect back to the 70’s. Even if im not reading an article, i like looking at the ads. While thumbing through a 1982 Voice of the Trapper, i saw a trapping supply company’s ad for lure and equipment. Lure was 3 bucks an ounce. Its 6.50 to 7 now. Almost everything else, like traps, trowels and other equipment, were priced 1/3 of what todays prices are. I remember posts where people were complaining about lures prices, but looks like we are getting a deal. What sux is gas was well under a buck and a coon wasnt 4 bucks....

I remember in the late 70's gas was 50 cents a gallon, 'rats were six bucks, and a xl coon was $60. Those were the days.
