I bought 1 of these today. Hard to believe a new gun only cost $100. It actually seems descent. I got the last 1 this place had. They've been flying off the shelf. I bet the price will be going up on these though. I got sticker shock though when I went to buy ammo. This is my 1st .410.

Lee made handloaders for them at one time. I bought one quite a few years ago. have loaded a loaded a lot of shells with it. these are close. a slow process but it works pretty good.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like I may have to hunt one of those down. I love the 410’s. I have been saving my hulls and plan to get the survival loader. A cheap alternative for plinking Wally World in my area carried the Federal Top Gun 2.5” shells for $5.99 a box. I picked up the Stevens single shot turkey 410 late last spring and plan to turkey hunt with it this spring.

We've had a Savage single shot 410 in the family for over 60 years. Very well made gun, easy to carry, way too fun to shoot. Been looking for the same model in 20 gauge.
Mossberg makes a pretty good little pump 410. Yeah, a box of 3" 410 shells is in the $12 - 14 range.

Great little shotgun. I see those at wally world for $99.00, Hatfield, I think Turkish made. I plan on one, perhaps 20 gauge as I can reload those cheaply with my lee Load all for custom rounds. Seems any shotgun shell outside of #7 1/2 skeet loads like #4, #5, or #6, and buckshot are still a bit expensive. I have watched several Youtube vids on these shotguns they are very modifiable to fold fully for packing, trigger pull is easy to lighten, as it is quite stiff, for some that may be a option. Sling mounting, stock mounted shell holders and such. Even seen a barrel shortened with Walmart glow sights installed turning it into a pretty good paper plate hitting 75 yard or less Foster rifled slug gun, that is what I may build. At $99.00 its very hard to beat. The Stevens 301 is really close in design to the discontinued New England or H&R Topper. All fun guns.
