Anyone have an luck on killing this invasive vine? My son and I picked up a neighbors yard to mow and that stuff is everywhere. Randomly growing in yard. There does appear to be a couple of mother trees of it. Plan on pulling runner vines, cutting big stuff and applying glyphosate to stump, and piling on there burn pile. Any ideas would be appreciated!!

I am not specifically familiar with this vine but most vines , cut apply a gel RTU herbicide like Gordons to the cuts
to make sure you got all of it it usually helps to cut at ankle height and eye height so at a glance you can be sure you have it all around
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Ah, the devils vine....I hacked mine down years ago, blotted out the house, got under roof shingles, it was a disaster.
Even though I tried to dig up all the roots, a tiny piece of root would send up a new plant, I would spray it with glyphosphate and it would die back, then come back again. Like the Terminator...lol I fought new shoots for 5 years, finally had to dig under each shoot and get the piece of root, . I havn't had a recurrence in a couple years so I guess it's finally done

I wouldn't plant the stuff on my worst enemies property. These neighbors have it bad. The parents had planted it years ago, the parents past away a few years back, now it is like a jungle. I finally got the yard mowed, but wow. There are roots running ground level for 30 yards. A vine the diameters of my pinky was able to loop around the front tire and stop the mower. I'll probably suggest they by a 2 1/2 gallon jug of glyphosate and then pray!!!

Maybe use a weed flamer right after a rain so you don't start a forest fire. I love using a weed flamer. Maybe have a big fire extinguisher nearby just in case something gets out of hand.
