Flying a flag is a whole different story then ordering medals and other items one wears on their person when they did not serve or participate in those campaigns etc.

Where ever I am at and the national anthem is played now, I will salute the flag. A lot of veterans just hold their hand over their heart.

It has been told now that its proper to salute if your a veteran, or cover your heart as the National Anthem is played or sang.
