I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Hi ah Pete! Good to hear from you buddy. Thats a new CZ .22 bolt action I picked up this summer so not alot to tell as far as history or stories. I'd have to look I'm not sure if its a 455 or 457 or what. It was its first time out actually now that I think about it. It was on clearance at the gun shop as a deal they had posted to get people to come in. It was a trade in. The previous guy changed the trigger and said he didn't like that he couldn't stack holes with it. An ex military shooter he was. I said touching holes is still smaller than a squirrel so thats fine with me. Which I proved this weekend. The shop owner said he would keep it for the stalk alone b/c its better grade than an average one. Really dark, but the last thing he needed was another .22. Me either but I thought it was pretty enough and it came home with me. Its just an average grade rifle that happens to look higher end b/c of the piece of wood it has. It has a plastic straight stack mag. that only holds 5. Plastic isn't my favorite but it is what it is. I put a 3-9x40 Nikon scope on it. It got the job done. When your wading a creek and shooting there aren't any rests like when standing in the actual timber so its free hand mostly. I'm getting older and wobblier and don't like it but it is what it is I guess. This looks very similar. I think its one of these. Thank you for the compliment. Being a carver I know you have very nice things and I really appreciate it. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/c...t-sneak-peeks-brought-to-you-on-tuesday/
