How much Dawn dishwashing liquid would it be safe to put in with a dozen new traps?

If your married, any amount won't be safe!

squirt a little extra in the bottom of the dishwasher. gotta get allll that oil off or you wont catch anything!

Just use whatever you normally put in the dishwasher.

make sure to put a nail tween the jaws

if there is ANY rust, DO NOT use the dishwasher, instead, in a tote, spray with Greased Lightining or Purple or Green spray, twice a day, flipping each time, for 3 days, THEN take to car wash and use an entire cycle of soap wash, flipping a few times, THEN an entire cycle of clean rinse, again, flipping a few times. I wire bout 6-8 traps together so I can flip that many with the flick of the wrist.

It is wise to look for a free or low cost, used dishwasher to have just for traps, like many of us. I got mine from folks that were re-doing their kitchen.

none , it foams out all over the floor, first apartment experience many years ago , until that apartment I had never used a dish washer , I was the dish washer.

the same thing you usually use in the dishwasher , electrosol powder is what I use now in the dishwasher.
