ma nature is just pinning me down in the shop for a couple days so i'll finish getting things around and be ready for the great setting weather coming in a few days.she has given me snow so location is a no brainer and much will be learned from reading the story the animals leave for us to read.

This cold snap the deer moved very heavy the 12 hours before and are laying up during, most in the clear cuts from last year. They will move heavy when it starts moving off. I think it's easy now for them to hunker down a day or two now as they have as much fat reserve as they are going to get. That being said the zero or so temps here now are pretty mild for a cold front. In another month or two the deer will be up and feeding with the sun at 30 below and worse.

I finished digging this trench for a frost footer yesterday. Now I have to wait for the inspector to come and tell me that it it’s a trench and I can go ahead and pour the concrete. I knew this rain and snow was coming so I made a tent so my trench wouldn’t cave in and have to be re-excavated before the inspector finally shows up. Lug... Your insurance lets you get away without caps on those vertical rod ends? Not required out there until the pour? Osky

I don't know if my liability ins. requires them or not but I would guess they do. They are required by OSHA and local code and were put in place after the pic. The inspector is coming tomorrow morning and that is the type of thing they'd fail me for in that township, Codemasters are super-picky there.
The cones are set up over the building line pins. Now you have me worried that I should get some caps on them too! LOL
Eh...wot?
