Hey everybody,
So I have wanted to make my own bait, and found a "bacon bait" by Lazarus on here (link below).
So my question is what are some alternatives to castor? I don't have any of that and is there any simple, effective alternatives to this? It will be used for coyotes and fox.

Thanks!

Heres the link to the bait: https://trapperman.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3378883/bait-making-bait

In Jesus,
Jonny

I don't know what a substitute would be, but you can buy ground beaver castor from a trapping supply dealer. It's not very expensive. I would order it from Hoosier Trapper Supply. But maybe you have another dealer you prefer to work with.

You can just skip the castor and that bait will still catch plenty of stuff.
