It's been a while since I posted on here, but I gotta brag.

My son has been hunting with me for about 4 or 5 years now with the mentor youth hunt we have in pa. But this is the first deer he ever got. I told him it is all down hill from here. I have been hunting for over 30 years and never got one this nice.

I forgot to say. he turned 12 this summer so this was his first year with out the mentor tag and a real lic.

Good on you both. That's a beautiful buck. Make sure to make a big framed print of that photo.

If you don't have it mounted consider doing what Sharon does with her skulls with a light bulb inside the skull.

congrats - the young man will never forget that - or the time he spent with you leading up to it.

he will spend the rest of his life trying to get a better one, and I hope he gets many more

GREAT job !!!! Memories that will last forever. Make prints of these pics as soon as possible. Frame them and display them . Cell phones can get lost.

Thats a dandy for a first buck!! Congrats to him and for you also dad! Far too many kids with no interest in the outdoors and hunting. Good on you for keeping it going!
