I believe coyotes feel more at ease working a bait station when the bait Is left out In the open. I just follow the tracks to cover and then hang my CRs.

If it's cold enough pile them up and pour water on them and freeze them down.

Who’s hauling water around in the winter just to freeze down a couple pieces of meat? I’m always amazed at how complicated you guys make things when it comes to hunting and trapping.

I like to back off a ways. Catch them coming and going.

River breaks here have some narrow draws surrounded by cedar trees a guy can snare away from the draw station no problem in the open bottoms. I like a new snow to show what trails they are using then set.
