I donated my body to a medical school. After they cut me up and look at me they will cremate me. My kids can throw out the ashes however they want.
I also have a grave site with a tombstone already up. My tombstone says Kevin Patrick Sullivan Father of Brenna Marie Kip Patrick
I figure it is nice to have a tombstone if there is ever some family member, in the future, trying to research family history. And my kids names on there will give some direction, to whomever might be looking.

I will be cremated and my ashes thrown into the lake.
As long as we're on the subject of tombstones: Some have said Ben Franklin was an atheist. Not according to his epithet:
"The Body of B. Franklin, Printer Like the cover of an old book, Its contents torn out, And stript of its lettering and guilding, lies here, food for worms. But the work shall not be lost, For it will, as he believed, appear once more. In a new and more elegant edition. Corrected and improved by its author."
Given by Ben Franklin to Sam Morris August 31,1776

Here it is ...Just waiting for me to crawl under it … denotes some of the things I enjoyed doing - Hunting/Fishing, Music, and writing. The way I felt out checking traps today … it might be sooner than later. Garry-

My last wish is pour me in a tray on the tailgate of my 69' chevy and drive the trap line. With the mt. Winds it should be a short loop. Lol
Let me sugar coat this

whatever the living folks put it on - matter's not to me Speaking from experience. Getting everything done, before a person dies, makes it much easier on the living. Why trouble the living with getting a tombstone, buying a burial plot, deciding what the deceased wishes might be. Do it all before you die and save the living the trouble of making decisions while grieving. My parents had everything already laid out. They had a burial plot, tombstone already in place and things all ready. It sure made it easy on me, and my brothers, in making closure. There is enough to do without trying to decide what the dead wished. That is why I have everything spelled out, taken care of, and paid for. That way my children have nothing to do except to cry over my poor, ol" bones.

My feelings exactly … my is all done … paid for and the stone laid... coffin and service is done including CDs fir the music I want played. The only thing left is to write the Obit the way I want it.
