All you deer hunters shoot straight tomorrow, and above all stay safe.

I just read there's a statewide liquor shortage in Michigan. Sorry to hear that, but good luck if you still decide to go anyway.

I am not going to be out tomorrow but I do have a few traps to check and I will be wearing lots of orange. Had a buck run into my Jeep while checking traps last week and about 200 yards from that spot I saw a nice buck today. I will just wait until the lead stops flying to get him. You all be safe out there whether trapping or hunting. Best of luck

Wish I had more time to trap....

If your trapping take your firearm.
I missed out one year on a chance at a book buck.
Didn't pack the rifle.

I don't know what hunting condition is like in Montana but here by the time I got a rifle out, in cases, vehicle parked and off, rifle loaded the deer would be so far in the swamp you wouldn't stand a chance. I definitely don't walk at all during the firearm deer war, not the first weekend anyhow. To many citiots around here on state land.

This was 1975 in Michigan, private farm land.
