It was all I could do to fill that 5 quart crock pot to the brim with half thawed ribs and a few onions, lol. That simmered for 24 hours and I pulled the bones out.

Eating the other side of the hanging lions,had the other side with eggs this morning steak and eggs are always good.I'll cut up the buck on sunday,guessing i'll get 45 to 50lbs of meat from him,then next week i'll cut up a doe that has not been shot yet.

I don't measure,but for a small 2 person stew
about cup of flour,
about a tbs baking pwdr
shake of salt
about 1\2 inch of oil in teacup then add water to 3\4 full
mix all up for dough if sticky dust with flour before adding to top of stew last 15 min of cooking.Cover with lid,and don't open lid until done(15 min).
