The first auction nafa had last season, I average $10.50 low grades. 2nd was over $20 average. May been close to $22, don't have paperwork front me , groenwold prices seem same last season on Facebook live. Green coon, $4-$6 average , depend on what got, maybe more for primer coon, rats maybe up just little , more demand , I wonder how sad mink prices are. Lot mink around this season did you used to sing on hee haw--gloom,dispair and agony on me,you met another and ppppppppuuuuttttttttttttt you were gone.

It goes like this you will get a few $5.00 rats and you will go away saying I got $5.00 for my rats. But you fail to realize you actually walked away with $2.50 average. And It's going to be the same with coon just a little different price structure. I'm betting coon averages are going to be around $8.00. I think your going find that after a run or 2 by groney the coon and rat prices are going to drop like a rock.
Good luck guys.

Good luck guys. As the fur gets better, the price drops. See how many times he asks the guys at the window if they are going after more fur.

Remember Coonman, those averages on you NAFA account are hammer price, not take home averages.

You either sell to Groney, ship to FHA, try a local buyer, or just quit trapping for heavens sake. Why keep bringing up NAFA when they are literally not even an option anymore? You are sounding like you're hung up on an ex-girlfriend that just happens to be named NAFA. Get over it. LOL!!!!

I don't think NAFA is dead.It is in the process of re structuring,Like OTA did in the 90's,and emerged as FHA. NAFA wont be NAFA anymore, but they still have a lot of fur to sell and likely under another name. It wont be this year however.

Maybe you can go work for groney and be his new poster boy since beav gave it up. Think you could fill the beavs shoes PRC?

After you figure in all the commissions, magazines, joining or paying to ship, and some stuff not selling for a couple years, you just think your doing better than selling to Groeny. I don't think I'm doing better than selling to Groney, I KNOW I'm doing better.

I always sold lower end rats to a local buyer and about half of the rest of my furs , then shipped the rest to FHA and some to NAFA ,I seem to come out better doing it that way and it's always interesting to see how you do at the auction .
50 + years of trapping & some fur buying and i still know nothing.

.................... Think you could fill the beavs shoes PRC? Who would want to fill Beav’s shoes??. They are probably moldy and crudy, just like Beav. I could be nasty and slam you, but I'm a bit above name calling.
