I have been using a wall tent for years. If you get one, do yourself a favor and get an internal frame, they are super simple to set up and take down. Sorry the picture is crooked. There are quite a few that are great tent manufacturers, I would suggest getting online and checking out some reviews. Another option that you have is the Cabelas Alakanak series, they work extremely well and are lighter to move around by yourself. PM me if you have any questions.

I use what we call a range tent - cowboy tee pee or pyramid tent mine is only a 10' model with a single main pole holding the peak with 7 short poles surrounding the outer perimeter up and out with the help of a rope at the same spot . I don't use a wood stove for heat but 2 Coleman white gas lanterns and stove , but only 1 lantern at a time keeping one filled up and ready if needed I've gone through some wild storms while staying in mine waking up to some thick ice and snow stuck to it and had to punch my way out so to speak breaking up the hard pack snow and ice.
If you go with a wall tent I'd suggest you have the stove pipe go out the side wall so you can cover the roof with a blue tarp in case of rain or snow my wall tent is a 14' x 16' with a sod cloth and after the kids grew up and moved on it doesn't get used anymore. The internal frames are a great way to go and way easier than dealing with lodge pole pine trust me . Allan

They sell those 10x10, 10x20 garages very cheap, and make an excellent camp shelter in less than drastic conditions, and can be heated as easily as an expensive canvas tent.

Davis Tent out of Denver makes an excellent tent. I have a 16x20 from them.
