What can you tell about Wallace H.O’Dowd wildlife area and Tranquility wildlife area? My oldest son is planning to try and go on a deer hunt up that way next year just trying to figure out what wildlife area would be best .

I have a place in SE Ohio in Morgan County, I cant tell you anything about those two places but there's some good public hunting all over if you're willing to do some homework and but boots on the ground. The AEP next to my place is huge, i think it's over 60k acres. I have hunted out there and have some buddies that still do. The always get on big deer. Be prepared to see people but if bow hunting you can still have a good hunt. Not sure if I'd want to shotgun hunt there. They just got back last weekend and all three saw bucks over 150" but none killed. One missed and another had a huge buck at 35 yds and couldn't get a shot. It's definitely tougher hunting with all the pressure but they are some real studs there
