I think part of the circle thing is a bottle opener for the old-style, pressed on bottle caps.

And the circle is just for pulling it out of the knife handle.

Eh...wot?

Any brand name or model on that particular multi-tool? If they're still being sold, it will likely have a description available that names each tool.

Any chance it's a magnifying glass missing the "glass" part? A few of the Swiss Army knives I saw had a similar looking tool, but they were all magnifying glasses. Probably for starting fires.

What about bubbles, I think we can get to the bottom of this.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

So it's not like a rape whistle, it's rape bubbles?

One of the students next to me handed him a cheapo multi tool. The instructor used to cut some normal trap wire. It broke in half at the plier joint. It was the first ever time that tool had ever been used. The instructor was hugely embarrassed and immediately felt bad for the student who loaned it too him. The student took it in stride , was not too upset (luckily) he had gotten it as a gift and knew it was poor quality.

I've had Leatherman tools that lasted 20+ years , Victorinox ones last 30+ years. Quality is cheap in the long run.

You can clearly see that it is not for BUBBLES. It's a range finder for throwing snowballs !

You get what you pay for. Buy quality the first time and you only cry once. The dude in the video bragging up his cheapo combo tool, 'spose he can snip cable ties with that thing?

Oh I agree but it was just a quick impulse buy for my kid. If she dont lose it in a month i'd be impressed.

I did some googling and that thing is for a lanyard.

Auctions are good places to pick up quality tools at reduced prices. Not always, but usually.

I have broken the pliers on every multi tool I ever bought so quit buying them.
