Had a DP set with fish food pellets and sprayed heavily with liquid smoke, and a coyote changed his coarse, passed a dirt hole set and walked all around the DP, I assume sniffing and licking the trap. Any one use liquid smoke at a dirt hole set as a K9 attractant ? -Thanks

Yes sir. It works. I used to buy some from RK back in the day. Seems to me he got the liquid from a BBQ place. Bought a couple of quarts from him. Then he stopped offering it. Cat's like it too.

I've used it as a secondary odor in formulations. My understanding is the essential oils grade stuff sold for trapping ingredient will last longer in the formulation than the stuff made for human consumption but I'll admit I've never tested the two. Suppose to give the other smells more push on top of being an attractive odor itself.
