From our local news:

MADISON - It doesn't look like Gov. Tony Evers is going to call another special legislative session on gun control anytime soon.

Evers told reporters at a news conference Monday that he has no immediate plans to call another special session but he's keeping the option open for the future.

Evers in October called a special session to pass universal background checks and a red-flag law that would allow family members and police to ask judges to seize firearms from people who might pose a threat.

Republicans who control the Legislature all but ignored the governor. Earlier this month they gaveled into the special session and immediately gaveled out seconds later. Evers said Monday he's disappointed in Republicans' lack of interest in gun control.

A student at Saugus High School in California on Thursday killed two classmates and wounded three more before killing himself.

Your local news should be ashamed of themselves for mentioning the shooting in Cali and not mentioning how strict and ineffective their gun laws are.

Yep, that last line was completely unrelated to the news story.

I hear there were some ideas proposed that would force Milwaukee and state wide to prosecute all felons caught with a gun to a minimum sentence and Dems quickly shot that down.

if your not up on the subject Milwaukee the city accounted for 142 of 151 homicides state wide in 2017 from some numbers presented by a state rep.

yet in-order to see actual prison time you need to generally repeat your serious crime 3 times or more , holding up a gas station , stealing a car , drug trafficking, virtually anything short of murder and less than a year is served.

here is a new story from last year , 21 year old who attempted to car jack a guy going to work and was killed , should have been safely behind bars for a few more years but he served just moths of his multi year sentence for as I recall armed robbery and possibly also aggravated assault. do I need to point out he was already a felon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g1sqZKfaVY

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
