Was wondering if folks could share pictures of what they use for snare supports, and stakes. I am wanting to make some and would like some new/better ideas.

ADC, this is the post I saw the other day and have been trying to find it ever since. You state you make the post 5' long? How far in the ground do you drive them? What type of soil are you driving into? Would 4' long work just as well?

I leave 2' above ground, 3' in the ground. If you use a 4' pole you only have 2' of pole in the ground. That's not enough IMO to hold in every situation. But, If the ground is very firm or frozen it'll work.

I drive them with a pipe like a steel fence post driver so they are easy to install and I pull the tough ones with a modified bumper jack.

This isn't for a guy walking his line but if you drive to your sets its the simplest most effective way I have found.

I tried kill poles long time ago, three out of five chewed off, the poles spun in the ground and didn't kill the coyote, the ones I have left are used to hold my tomato cages mow
