Thanks. I weighed a male yesterday and I thought it would be heavier. Eighteen pounds and thirty inches from nose to base of tail. 30 pounder is 40" from nose to base of tail tanned.

I would guess your Aroostook Co. 'cat is a young-of-the-year tom. That is about what a young one here will weigh.

Big toms out in western Oregon will go around 25 Lbs or so. Females around 16-18 lbs.

I have caught them anywhere from 8 pounds (yes, 8) to low 40's. I think we have bigger than normal cats here but they are butt ugly.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Grown toms 31-33" tip of nose to base of tail, 25 to 33 lbs. Is that measurement on the carcass? I would assume so. 31-33” is very small for a stretched and dried bobcat.

Thanks. I weighed a male yesterday and I thought it would be heavier. Eighteen pounds and thirty inches from nose to base of tail. Last one I killed in Maine was about 32, a Grand L:ake Stream 'cat.
