Thanks everyone!
I’ll be spending the next few weeks making 150 gallons of waxed dirt.
I’ll be posting a few pics from the previous trips
I’m looking forward to taking you all along with me on here!

i hope you guys hit a lick. its nice to be able to have a good chance to make money trapping. especially on something like coyotes that are very renewable and need some thinning every year to really stay healthy.

Yeah it would be nice to get a good fur check for sure. The trip by itself has proven to be an epic adventure each time. When you are trapping away from home and have nothing to do but set and check traps for two weeks you get a whole new level of fun out of it!

How are you guys making your wax dirt ? Cement mixer. The yotes always seem to play in my wax dirt and find the trap.

There is always the chance that they will investigate the loose dirt but a frozen trap is useless. I take my chances and I know the traps will fire if my guiding works.

Talk about work and dedication!
26 5-gallon buckets, 130 gallons, of waxed dirt. How many pounds is that?
And that's just part of the preparation.
Good luck guys. I’ll take some pictures when I load it all up. A little planning goes a long way!
