HobbieTrapper OP "Chippendale Trapper" Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 28,715 Eastern Shore of Maryland	2 Cups of mashed sweet potatoes 1/2 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of shortening “Pinch” of salt 2 1/4 cups of self rising flour Add sugar and shortening to hot mashed sweet potatoes. Let cool. Mix in flour and salt. Roll out and cut out biscuits. Can be frozen until ready use. Bake 450* for 15 minutes. -Goofy-

I cooked 9 small sweet potatoes, which was a little more than 2 cups, in the microwave for 10 minutes. Wrap them in plastic wrap. -Goofy-
