its way easier to catch a mink with 2 in legs when there's 4 in of snow on the ground.

One should never put, and then forget to take out, a bottle of lure in a coat that will be washed by the 50% of the marital pair that will not think it's funny.

It is a wise man who readily admits how much he does not know about wild animals in spite of his lifelong experience of outwitting many of them. In other words, one cannot learn anything if one believes that they know everything.

You catch most canines sniffing the post, not taking a leak on the post.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

If a canine location is good enough for one set it's good enough for two.
Eh...wot?

Without out failure there is no opportunity to learn, without learning there is no opportunity for improvement.
Steel on the ground always catches more fur that steel hanging around.
Failure leads to learning, learning leads to improvement.

Don't worry about the competition, make them worry about you.

Set where the critters show you they are, not where you think they should be.
Wish I had more time to trap....
