Looks like eastern ND, all of northern MN and western WI will take the brunt of this nasty storm. Stay home if you can and be safe out on the roads if you must travel tonight!

Little bit of freezing rain and a lot of wind here.
If a guy could describe pee poor trapping weather in southern Wisconsin
it would be this year.4 inches of snow and 0 temps on Halloween and rain
freeze thaw since. High water all year.
On a brighter note, there ain't been much competition.

Our deer camp got 11" or so of snow Tuesday/Wednesday, with another 8-12" predicted with this storm. I drove up to camp yesterday morning to hunt the afternoon, but decided to head home early and beat the storm. Sitting at home now listening to the freezing rain beating on the window and seeing the forecasters calling for 10" of snow here, I think I made the right choice. Roads will be terrible tomorrow for sure.

We got around 8 inches but it drifted terrible. Checking traps today will be a blast.

I have nothing clever to put here.

No snow up here, that storm missed us. Maybe a dusting, or a 1/2" somewhere. 100 miles south got it good.

I just got back from town and it was vacant! That was nice...no crazies out yet. The roads were just wet here. No ice yet.

We got a bit of freezing rain through the night, then snow hit around 4 a.m. or so. Roads are snot. Supposed to storm all day and into the night.

That's nasty, lol. I got firewood to cut, and then I'll mosey with a 2 wheel drive truck, as my S 10 is in the shop for a week....that slows me down. There is no frost anywhere off of a road and this country is saturated and the snow has dropped to 3" in a lot of places and fields are showing through.
