This is going around Facebook. A friend of mine said "it's 2019, men need to be reminded".

It makes me sad that men need to be reminded to be a protector. My head is always on a swivel.

Yep. I try to always keep an eye on women in that situation. Just did the other night at Walmart. Just as I hope other responsible, armed men are doing for my girls.

This time of year especially draws out the predators. I guess it's the military but seem to be extra aware of things around me. That definitely includes those easily targeted. I figure it's worth it to protect those that can't protect themselves. Some say you could get hurt and that may happen but I won't have any trouble sleeping at night because it could be one of my loved ones or someone I care about and I would hope that someone would intervene on their behalf if I were not able to.

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by six...swore an oath many years ago and I seem to remember something about enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC. Always on overwatch.

Your forgetting that the "men" of 2019 have their hair up in a bun, wear skinny jeans with loafers, carry a purse with a support animal in it and still live at home with mommy.
