I have some sets out along a field/wood edge that have always produced over the years. This year the farmer chiseled the field and I am getting no action or seeing any sign. I know it's rough for me to walk on, but do coyotes avoid this terrain due to being to "rough" as opposed to a smooth flat bean field ? -Thanks

Yes they will avoid it, unless they have to go across it. Look around them fields to find the path of least resistance and you will find sign. Unless they have totally changed their travel routes, which they will do.

Many times farmers will put anhydrous ammonia on in the fall too. It just ruins a spot for trapping, I don't think the yotes like the smell of anhydrous any better than I do! Nasty stuff.
