Smoke and mirrors. Got to spin the tale to get people through the door.
I know One FHA agent who promised a $40.00 average on otter two years ago. Guess what some of those otter are still there and the ones that sold were sold In the low twenty's.

With the way this market Is looking no one Is going to come out smelling like a rose. Well at least not for the trapper.

I heard one trapper last night when asked If he was ok with the offer. Say what ever, I have to let them go.

Nov. 30- sold 20 green coon at $5.30 average, 6 @ $10 and down to $1 for a couple dinks, 5 green yotes, 1 @ $50, 3 @ $15, 1 @ $5. Not thrilled, but my 9 year old that caught all the coon was happy as a lark. If it keeps him interested thats payment enough to me.

If coyote prices are anything like they were at NAFA last May, Groeny is going to be laughing all the way to the bank.

Damaged Heavies, semis, and eastern brought mostly $24 to $76

My thought exactly lindner, my 6 yo was excited to get .25 for his squirrel tails-plus he got to eat the squirels

If the youngins are into fishing, send those tails to Mepps in Antigo and trade them for fishing lures.

Beav that is a good deal when you don't have to travel so far to get a pair of gloves and to get those hides into the system and not have them wasted.

knowing what they want on todays coyote hide is the KEY to know how much they are worth.

Coyote 87,787 100 Western Heavy $112.84 $300.00 100 Western Semi $66.83 $108.00 100 Eastern $53.40 $132.00 100 Section III $39.29 $76.00

That is what coyotes were worth at the last sale. According to Groeny the Market is strong and he is paying on average according to BEAV less than Section III brought. crazy

Well I only talked to 3 trappers that sold him coyotes and they were all In the $30.00 range. I only saw 2 of the coyotes that my buddy had and the break down was $15.00 and $50.00. And maybe the other coyotes were only worth $30.00.

But He has you by the short hairs since no one Is going to ship 2 or 3 hides out to some western sale. And the auction house Is the only other venue and Is that trapper with 3 or 5 coyote hides going to travel 50 or 60 miles to some FHA drop off point?

He’s stopping here on Tuesday. I was planning on taking coon and coyotes, but I think I’ll just take coons. No way I’m selling my coyotes for $30 - $32.50 average.

just because you show them some doesnt mean you have to sell them. I always figured no hard feelings if an offer is made and i dont like it. unless the one wanting to buy gets an attitude if i say no.
