Any body got a suggestion for using burnt wax?
I had it on a hot plate in the basement and forgot about it. Until the smell got upstairs. Got down there and it was smoking.

That is scary! Please be careful with wax indoors.If that had ignited,flames can shoot 8' in the air.If that had happened,you would be smelling way more than wax.Glad you are safe.

I always bring my wax to a rolling boil and have never had problems.
