I just made a "bean pile row"(2x as thick as tall) and bedded trap in middle of row. I make this row about 4-5'. I made another smaller row(lengthwise) on opposite side of trap to block it down. I put lure on inside edge of both row crossing trap at an angle (distance for them to stand on pan while sniffing lure) and urine on each end of long row. my thought is trying to get them to work end to end between rows.

2nd attempt:

urine--------lure----------------------urine
******************trap*******************
------------------------------lure-----

I like how you "drew" that up. Good idea.
