Love me some sushi. I am a billion miles from salt water, but haven't got sick yet.

Nothing like making a pig out of yourself with all you can eat.

I’m no means a sushi expert and I’ll eat just about anything, but I’ve only had one kind of sushi I didn’t like and I was told it was sea urchin reproductive organ after I ate it. Can’t remember exactly what it was called, but terrible. I don’t think I could’ve put enough wasabi on that thing to make it taste any better to me. Everything else I’ve ever had was good.

I love Sushi and sashimi. Spicy tuna roll is probably my favorite followed by salmon.

To do that is relatively easy with the right tools.

My wife buys sushi in a tube. So do most people in Japan.

It's like making your own catsup here. You can do it, but why bother?

Had some sushi over the Turkey Day Holiday! Salmon roll, tuna roll, California roll and some others that I can’t remember or can’t pronounce, lol.

St. Cloud has a good sushi bar? I just may have to check that out one day soon. This mid-west may first tried it about 30 years ago while visiting friends in Seattle. I tried alot but in the end liked the eel, calamari and the yellow tuna. Now my mouth is watering......

I have skinned thousands of yellowfins and vacuumed packed tons of steaks. Not all are the same. What people are selling as sushi-grade tuna is actually cold smoked. Sushi grade tuna only lasts about 2-3 days then it turns a chocolate color like the regular tuna does. Not many fresh tuna make that grade. Tuna does not freeze well either. Cold smoked tuna is a pretty red color and never fades. The flavor is not guaranteed however.
