Hunting has been okay. There has been very few shots in my area. I have not seen many deer. I suspect that most of the hunters in my area tagged out during early bow season. The deer I have seen were not panicked at all.

I killed a large spike buck Monday at 5:10pm. I suspect it was more than 1 1/2 because it had a very long and massive body. It had very small testicles. I think it is the same spike I got a trail cam pictures of last year. I had never seen a spike while hunting before.

I tore something, possibly my peroneal tendon, when I jumped over a small seasonal creek, when I was going to the buck. It made a very loud noise in my leg. I did not hunt Tuesday or Wednesday. I went for a couple of hours before dark tonight, but did not see any deer. I plan on hunting tomorrow around 3:00pm.

Did you and your friend go hunting this week here in Ohio?

Keith

It's next year we're planning to go. If my next ankle surgery turns out better than the last two.

Glad to hear you shot one. Bummer about the tendon. Will it heal by itself?

I get the OP's gist, but that is a poor example of the future.
The U.S. Citizens are well armed, and will remain so for a long time. The NRA, and other organizations indeed need our support, but the odds of gun confiscation on a nation-wide scale is highly un-likely, any time soon.

This is the problem. You wouldn't be uttering these words had Hitlery become President. The SCOTUS would be packed with gun haters and all of these laws that are being presented would be passed. There would be no stopping it. Open your eyes. We were close, very close to losing the 2nd because the left doesn't see it as a right, they see it as a privilege only for the privileged. Look what these people have been saying on the stump. If you still don't get it, I don't know where to go from here. It is happening and has been happening little by little. It will take nothing but power for their final assault. .

Yeah James, you're right, Trump is the real threat to gun-owners in America.

It's not the hordes if liberal, anti-gun Democrats who have either already introduced anti-2A legislation or promised to. You know, the ones "with a pulse"...

What a dumb bill. They can already track purchases from the retailer.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

So will Trump. He promised:

- To be too busy working to play golf;

- To release his tax returns; and

- To get medical care coverage for everyone.

Politicians lie ... its in their job description. There is not one honest man or woman sitting in congress or the white house for that matter. Get used it.

Liberals are complete idiots. Once upon a time I overlooked some of them, but they've proven to me since that they don't deserve it anymore.

Example.....San Francisco past a law banning vaping. BUT, they hand out needles and provide places to shoot up drugs. crazy

I would hope immigrants we allow in have more brains than some people already here.

He ain't that bad. In fact, if he'd not talk or tweet, and change some of his 2A positions, and just stick with enacting his policies he'd be pretty awesome.

I can take the tweets, considering the great job he's doing for us. Best in a long time, one that isn't giving the U.S.A. away for a change!

Exactly. Those that are all caught up in his tweets, his personality and such are ninnies in my book. Accept the fact that you don't have to like the President as a person, but yet look at what he is doing for our way of life. We are a heck of a lot better off then if we had a liberal nutburger in office.

I think the tendon will heal. I need to get orthotics. Both of my feet are badly suppinated.

YEP! Just exactly like in Australia when they confiscated the rural folks firearms. Don't kid yourself.

Maybe the problem that people have with Trump is that he's NOT A politician, he doesn't say warm and fuzzy things, or pander to voters emotions. This understandably upsets some people that want a President to blow in their ear, and whisper sweet nothings that are just that. This also makes him popular with people that want straight talk.
