The Petersens are a family band performing full-time in Branson, MO. The band consists of Katie Petersen on fiddle, Ellen Petersen on banjo, Matt Petersen on guitar, Julianne Petersen on mandolin, Karen Petersen on bass, and Emmett Franz on dobro.

Listening to ole Merle tonight but I'll take a break. Finster, you need to carry through on your threads and comment more. You give the impression that you post and then have not a care to mingle. Just an observation ole boy. They sound pretty good.....


I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Pretty darn good … my old feet wanted to get out there and do a little hoofing, but the rest of my body said oh heck no you don't. Now if you had played Orange Blossom Special or Smokey Mountain Breakdown, I might not have been able resist it.
