I tried it on fox it was a PIA, otter tails are too wide, mink and marten work real well and I have heard coon too. I bet they would work on fisher as well. Make sure and use the bigger clips 2" or so the standard small size are much harder to work with

That is so cool! Yes get the next generation interested! Such a valuable skill, and I actually wish I had paid more attention when my dad trapped regularly.

It's great to see when our traditions are passed on to the younger ones. You're both lucky to share the experience together! I started trapping late due to no family members that did it, but I found some great mentors that I cherish.
