I got a doe, I got a doe, and I'm excited! Nice pic RM. Heard 9 shots today, that's it.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I ended up shooting my first ever spike at 5:10pm. He came in with 3 smaller deer. I shot him in the spine, at about 50 feet and dropped him in place. I got him skinned, cut into manageable parts and the loins, tenderloin and liver bagged up. Diane will do the boning and trimming.
I'll try to shoot a doe or button buck tomorrow afternoon.

Keith WTG Keith Thanks Jeff. It's the first spike I have ever seen in person. I know spikes are supposed to be mostly 1 1/2 years old, but suspect this one is older. I got trail cam pics of one last year at the same stand. It had a very long, large body. The antlers were incredibly spindly and sharp. Most of the bucks I see around here are 8 points or more. Keith
