Trap goes with me nearly every day. He will be 2 on the 28th I'm amazed at his ability to recognize trap locations from a few days ago. Fun age for grandpa at least. He comes in each morning yelling " grandpa. Check trap". Lol he don't care if it's cold raining or sunny he wants to go. Hope I can keep him this interested in the outdoors

Thanks he can identify deer, bobcats, beaver, and coons he still calls the coyotes puppy though. I sent him home the other night a little while later my daughter called and said thanks dad, I asked for what she said "Trap is pointing at the reindeer and saying pow everytime he sees one" lol. good times

nice. my youngest grandson is a little older. 7 . gramma is fixing his breakfast right now so he can go check. he has been suggesting that trapping is more important than school on weekdays but gramma aint buying it

Okay I would like to agree with you, but in reality I think "Arthur " (do you know him yet) and the old adage work smarter not harder may have more to do with it. lol maybe when he gets big enough to pack the gear I might walk a line again....but I doubt it ! About the only line I walk anymore is when I'm water trapping. I afraid of the called a culvert trapper otherwise. lol and when I do I have to carry him right now...thanks for the comments I thought it was a pretty cool photo.
