My Uncle was there. Ton of respect for that generation.

My grandpa was there , he never talked much about it but when he did i listened. Thanks to all that served and are still serving. God bless

First time I’ve listened to the whole speech.

I teach Social Studies and show all of my classes this on the day or as close as I can(yesterday). They MUST watch it and pay attention, plus take notes. Pretty powerful if you watch it all. It takes the whole class period so all I add at the end is "We have it pretty easy. Hand in your paper."

The youngest survivor on the USS Arizona was from the little town where I live. His brother was also on the Arizona and was killed in the attack. Their story is remembered here every year. I just read a statistic in our paper yesterday that there were 38 sets of brothers serving on the Arizona.

They had the buddy program back then.

It is most important to be able to say, I remember. Thank you for your service, and I will never forget December 7, a day that will live in infamy. I honor those who were there and their families for the loss that can never be repaid. America was attacked that day and will always remembered with gratitude.
