I teach Social Studies and show all of my classes this on the day or as close as I can(yesterday). They MUST watch it and pay attention, plus take notes. Pretty powerful if you watch it all. It takes the whole class period so all I add at the end is "We have it pretty easy. Hand in your paper."

The youngest survivor on the USS Arizona was from the little town where I live. His brother was also on the Arizona and was killed in the attack. Their story is remembered here every year. I just read a statistic in our paper yesterday that there were 38 sets of brothers serving on the Arizona.

It is most important to be able to say, I remember. Thank you for your service, and I will never forget December 7, a day that will live in infamy. I honor those who were there and their families for the loss that can never be repaid. America was attacked that day and will always remembered with gratitude.
