I'm exhausted lol.

Last night we went to the botanical gardens for their Christmas light display.

Just a few

Then went to the museum where the kids and I walked on a billboard size map of the moons equator. It was on display for 1 night only. It was first shown in DC and they were unsure where it was going next.

Got 4 Christmas trees today. These are 2 of the 4

My daughter spotted this massive 6pt buck while it was in a thick area. We watched him for a few

Great pic's adam, looks like y'all had fun.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Thanks everyone.
NonPCFed, thanks I try my best and often don't feel like it because of my health issues. Boy am I paying the price today for this weekend.

Lol 330. Me too. they learned the hard way to listen to dad about what to wear and take. My youngest is the only who took extra socks. My other 2 had soaked shoes and frozen feet by lunch time. Lol. That buck was incredible

Those rose hips make some fine tea when steeped just right. Lots of vitamins in it.

Awesome. How do you make your tea?

I don't think I've ever ate or drank rose hips. When do you pick them eat them etc....

Anytime they have turned red pick and dry.
Boiling water over them and let sit, strain, enjoy.
A rose colour tea..............and the honey to sweeten to taste.

Yours look like smooth prairie rose with not a lot of spins on the stems.
Could be a homesteaders rose( Adaline?) as well and their hips are longer, but just as good to use

Thanks Northof50. They have lots of little spins. I should've taken a closer pic. I always hate walking through them.
