Shooting all them deer this early you must be one of them folks that pays someone else to cut 'em up.

SW PA tip of the week:

no need to cut off the legs for easier dragging; just tie the front hooves to the head. that way, they don't catch on brush. back legs just naturally follow the body's path.

Thats a dandy buck for Texas aint it? Heck thats pretty good for Ohio even. Congrats.

Everyones worried about field dressing and filling the cavity with dirt and leaves when they should just be lopping the legs off I guess.

You should start a news letter. Maybe just Lone Star Beer Fortunes like in them cookies. Or on the bottom of Skoal cans like a Snapple Tea.

Savell says: To reduce drag on deer make them look like a dolphin. Duh.

Good job, man. The last one with shortened legs is a low rider or sometimes called "ground venison". They are specially adapted to sneaking through tall grass to get by you. Apparently the grass was not tall enough in the piney woods.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

US hillbilly Yanks know ya only need to lop off the rear ones. The front ones ya just tie to their chin with your dragging rope and it makes them slip right thru the bullrushes.(better than those stubs you got sticking out after chewing them off)

I hate that we have to shoot deer with lots of head-gear now, that Is only good for slow'n ya down coming off the mountain. Rich fancy pants laws we got.
