I never met him, but he seemed so familiar to me. The world is a lesser place without him.

I am saddened to hear this. I think of Jonathan every time I see a different than normal bird or a great close up shot of a bird. In 2009 when I was thinking about writing my book on Muskrats, Jonathan and I had developed a friendship on here and exchanged many email and PMs. I sent him an outline of what and how I wanted to do my book and he was gave me the validation to proceed. After it was completed, he sent me one of the greatest reviews and remarks anyone could ask for. His approval made the effort worth while.

My friend, you are and will be missed. I will see you again in the next chapter.

Garry-

I am saddened to hear Jonathan has passed. I, like most here, truly enjoyed viewing his talent for photography in his posts and the kindness he brought to the site.

His pictures and positive attitude definitely brightened my day many times. It is odd how sad one can get without knowing someone in person. The world is a bit darker without him for sure. RIP Johnathan. Godspeed.

From North Western Pennsylvania our sincere condolences to all affected. Obviously this man has touched many folks wont be forgotten.

I pray that each will find their way to grieve and morn, then move past it and remember fondly.

RIP

Keep your boots dry and your powder too.

I remember when a fur check was reality.....now I'm just trapping for the love of it.

Best Regards,

JT

A true gentleman he was. Was blessed to meet and spend a little time with him at Rondy while he was visiting with our Sharon.
RIP Jonathan.

No words tapped out here can appropriately describe what Jonathan's loss to the T-man community represents.
