The place on the big pond with all the otter sign is shallow. Less than 10 inchs deep . Dont get 4 ft for 25 yards. Would a 18 inch pogo anchor with a 2 inch washer hold a otter in shallow water? The biggest trap I have is victor #4 dls. But the trap I am using is a mb 650 outside laminate? Only otter lure I have is cronks and caven otter lure. Set a pocket set or dirt hole?

It should , but caught live otters will spin like a tornado so you better have good swivels and a lot of them .

The set up has 3 or 4 mb swivels on them.

If the 650 is offset,I would use the 4 longspring.

I was going to buy new beaver traps. I was going to get regular jaws for them.

Find a different place to trap the same otter.

A live-hold, lured otter set is about the least percentage option there could possibly be. Just my opinion

Should be good to go , I would use the #4 instead of the 650

I think the pogo would work. Do you need a special driver for the pogo anchors?
