They have a facebook page that for some reason came across my facebook,I read the comments because I was curious why people watched them after they were outed.Some were laughing at them,alot of people treat them like a soap opera that they had to watch from week to week so they didn't miss an episode.

Try to think of the type of morons that gather around the TV excited that the Bush people are coming on!! Its a popular show, so there must be plenty of them out there. I assume lots of city dwellers.

Thats my feeling too,I can't understand why people would continue to follow them after they've been proven to be frauds.If people treated them like a episode of "Mountain Monsters",I could understand.But reading the comments I didn't get that impression,people are really into this bunch.

Maybe so. Maybe it's more people want a self gratifying view of what they "believe" things should be. I saw that show last Alaskans and I think the hard work and mediocrity was very honest but doesn't fit what the new lazy spoiled generations want things to be. Trying to rewrite historical lifestyles before those lifestyles are around long enough to be history.

Funny you thought that goldnut. I worked here a couple of summers prior to moving. The first year I worked with a Brit who'd been here 20 years. He told me when I went South that fall to tell everybody how much Alaska sucked.

I can't watch the show.

However my wife watches it, she gets into other peoples lives and whats happening in them for some reason.

She's never been to Alaska but I have.

I think it is funny they still call it Alaska Bush People and they live in Washington State and the show is filmed there in Eastern Washington..

Unless things change I will be shooting in eastern Oregon this winter and had thoughts of wandering up into Washington. No more thoughts of that side trip knowing this.

I stopped watching TV in 2001. I don't miss that noise at all and amazingly have no urges what-so-ever to buy completely unnecessary junk...strange...

My attitude has improved somewhat as well. The wife had that program on once and I looked at what was going on and then I laughed and laughed....

They'd be dead within a week if they actually had to survive much beyond range of their local Walmart. What a joke.

I'm not even sure why they call them Alaskan bush people since they're originally from Texas and now filming in Washington St. The plot thickens I guess. It's a stupid show.
