I am amazed that they get the traction they do. I used to work with a guy that was big into the bigfoot hunting shows. When we worked out of town and had to share rooms he would watch them all of the time. I always asked him like you know that aint real and he would agree and just say it is so stupid i am entertained by it. Lol. there is also a ghost hunting show where the hunt ghosts. Multiple seasons and of course never have any stitch of proof caught on film. Even discovery channel has a treasure hunting show where a very educated dude travels around looking for more scrolls in Israel and stuff like that. they never find anything but pottery but he is super excited and that show keeps rolling.

Mountain Monsters......is different.I don't think L've ever been able to sit and watch a whole program. It seems they have a different take on reality shows;make it seem real, but make it ultra ridiculous, and do it with a straight face. When I first saw one I thought it was a typical reality show looking for big foot,Was I wrong. My favorite was when the guy that makes the traps got put under some spell and disappeared, then reappeared running around the woods in a trance naked.I ever want to make my wife jump I'll say Mountain Monsters are coming on and I'm going to watch it.She hates it with a passion.

Kind of reminds me of those bigfoot shows. So much drama and in the end they never come up with anything substantial to prove the existence of a bigfoot.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

This was mentioned in the Bush People thread. Anyone watch this show? I used to record it and watch it while running on the tread mill in the basement. Pure entertainment plain and simple. Fellas are geniuses if they are making money off the show. Just a snipe hunt on steroids. Does anyone from WVa know any of those fellas? They did one episode in Perry County, Ohio looking for the ole' Grassman (a form of big foot.) I did some beaver trapping in that area checking traps in the dark. I am glad I did not have an encounter with the Grassman. He must not like the beavers either. the ole grassman of perry county is not like bigfoot at all. think more along the lines of willy nelson lol
