I've been browsing their site. How do you know which models are made in the USA and which are made in China? It doesn't specify that I could see.

The few American made Rocky Boots are made in Puerto Rico now, which is part of America, but just barely. Most of their boots are now made in the Dominican Republic. They were being made in Korea, but Korean labor became too expensive. The boots were much, much better when made in Nelsonville, Ohio. I used to frequently buy Rocky Boots at the outlet store in Nelsonville, Ohio, but their customer service became abhorrent and I won't ever buy anything from Rocky Boots ever again. Keith

They didn't mention the Puerto Rico part when I ordered them, made in USA is how they were advertised.
I put in USA made under the search tab. Puerto Rico is a US Territory, so it is part of America, even though its culture is very different. Puerto Rico seems like a third world country. I think it's an embarrassment that it's part of the US. One of my best friends went to high school near Nelsonville and through him, I met a fair number of former Rocky Boots employees and 1 current employee. They were angry about how they had been treated and how the boots and shoes were being now made overseas, at the cost of their jobs. Keith

Just saw this?
Rocky Boot Manufacturing Facilities. Rocky Brands, Inc. (home of the Rocky Boot brand) currently owns two manufacturing facilities; one in Puerto Rico and one in the Dominican Republic. All footwear produced in Puerto Rico is made in the USA and is also Berry Compliant.

I haven't owned a pair of Rocky boots in twenty years. Much better boots on the market.
Sometimes nothing can be a real cool hand

I used to frequently buy Rocky Boots at the outlet store in Nelsonville, Ohio, but their customer service became abhorrent and I won't ever buy anything from Rocky Boots ever again. Keith My trusty old, Made-in-USA Irish Setter Buck Trackers sprung a leak last week while still-hunting through a swamp. It actually made me sad when I felt the icy water along the side of my foot. I loved those boots! They were the warmest, driest, most comfortable boots I ever owned. They've served me quite well over the last 15-20 years So I'm in the market for new boots. I passed on the Rocky's after remembering all the problems with them beginning twenty-five years ago or so when they first became popular. A common saying at that time was. "Rocky boots, a river runs through them," A play of words based on Redford's popular movie of the same era and created by disgruntled customers because Rocky's waterproof boots were anything but. Also, I did search for USA made on their site and came up with a bunch of military and work boots, very few hunting boots. I did buy another pair of Irish Setters a few years ago. They are now made in China and leaked from day one. The search continues...
Eh...wot?
