Hard to believe it has been that long and I still can't get past typing with 2 fingers. I wandered in soon after it started. I was on my super IBM Aptiva 66 mhz with a 450 meg hard drive. Dial up was the only way to get online back then and if someone posted a picture it took forever to load.

Joined around 15 years ago but don't post very often. Have always enjoyed this site and have learned a lot over the years.

Another name to add to those who went to the other camp is Carl Frauen from Nebraska I still miss our late night brainstorming sessions !
As for when I started on here it's been a long time I also remember a crash or two since then.

I've used the Macthediver handle pretty much since day one.. But back when first got on and lot of us did live chat in evenings. Sometimes guy would get bumped from dial up and for some reason not be able to log back in with same name. So I would login and use SkunkEye as my second handle... Someone would login and you'd wonder who is this now.. Then they'd type hey this is so and so couldn't get in with my regular handle.
Could even mess with people a little login in different name when took them bit figure out who you were.

Almost 13 years for me. Best site on the internet!

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

A lot of us were on a site called Otter creek back in the 90's then all the action moved over here when this one started.

I was Foxcraft when I joined in 2007. I was on dial up off of our little phone coop. in the area. Took forever to download anything and was charged by the time on the internet instead of the amount of data. Anyway had login problems and just started lurking I felt I had no need to post, but later felt I needed to be able to search the site with a more consistent source than just google, so joined again.

My thanks goes out to Paul and the moderators for a well run site and a wealth of information.

I was on the Otter Creek site for a bit. Don't know exactly when I came to this site. My handle has never changed even with the changes and the melt down.

Been on since '99 I think.

Miss many who have passed and many more who seemed to have just faded away, but left great information.
