Does anybody market and have you personally tried any bait solutions for predators that's Not if the Nelson type ?

Beartooth trapper Carrie's that bait now I believe .

I dont know for sure but I think lucky bait and widow maker paste bait aren't of the Nelson type I may be wrong tho.

I use Top Dog predator bait from Hoosier Trapper Supply and have had good luck with it. They say it is not based on the Nelson formula.

What’s the difference between Nelson formula and non Nelson?

I have no idea what the base or formula is, but I have had really good success with Dobbins' bait solution. Using cat for the meat has been the best for me. Although, beaver, deer, old pork and old beef has worked well to.

Something not based in large part the Nelson base something apart and so be so Hendrickson based on Nelson formulas I figure it must be known. I want something different

If you cant find what your looking for another option would be mix in a good food or call lure, your currently not using, with your bait base. Just food for thought.

Ok then some help with Lures ? Maybe add some 1-2(or more) is bottles to my meat base who makes a good strong rattlesnake base lure or weasel base ?

Slightly off the subject, years past when I had red fox to trap I found lightly tainted fox meat to be excellent K-9 bait.

Well I have different base then many to use and want to stay away from something they may be familiar with totally

Just taint the meat to your liking,,then preserve with sodium benzoate and glycerine.Add other "smells" if you wish.
