Jonathan loved the moon.

Especially when it is full.

Today marks the last full moon of this year , bowing in regal beauty , to introduce a new year of living colour, cherished life . It is called the Cold Moon, or Long Night's Moon. To those of us who love the night time, and long nights.

The hushed reverence of the milky way glowing above the northern lights , huge mountains all over the earth, jagged peaks looming black against indigo velvet skies ....

2020. I think of the new year as 2020 foresight , and it is . Full of much needed goals attained in more than ready anticipation , life filled with love unsurpassed , beautiful work refined , friends cherished , breathing in the natural world of this amazing planet that we all are so fortunate to move and exist in sharing.

In quiet pondering of our dear friend, Jonathan, I think this full moon, the last of the year, should be dedicated to himself.

In the forum that Mr Paul kindly made for him, is a thread called "Walking When the Moon Is Full" , with one of his many lovely moon shots. That is the image I posted here. I know Jonathan wouldn't mind . He wanted everyone to keep looking up , at the beauties of the night skies .

Even if it's cloudy tonight , look up anyway , see it's luminance glowing through regardless , pondering good things of the future.

You are missed , Jonathan . See you on the surface.....

Jonathan loved the moon .

Here's to the Tman Tribe , 2019 , a marked year in time .....into 2020 foresight.

Very good write up Sharon for Jonathan!!! This is not a good photo, just from my iPhone. I was going hunting this morning and saw the moon out and was mesmerized for a moment! Jonathan was truly a great artist and will be missed!! Photo was taken from the Blueridge Parkway.
